Here we are, 106 days away from opening day in Missouri and I can't help but to continue looking back at some footage from last year. I just had to make a short video for you all to see and to get your blood flowing for the up and coming deer season! I am more than excited to get in the stand and get the film rolling. The first buck and last buck in the video are the two boys we want to lay on the ground with the stick and string this fall. They are beautiful bucks and would look great on the wall and on Midwest Whitetaill.

Be safe & God bless you!

Clint and Brandon,

The blog looks really good guys! That video you guys put together from last year is awesome. You're definitely going to have some good bucks to chase this year. Just remember, film everything and it's not about the harvest, it's about the story.

Keep emailing if you have any questions.

Take care guys.

Clint and Brandon,

The blog is starting to really look nice and the video from last year's season is awesome! Look forward to see what trail cam pics you guys start to get here in the next month or so. Best of luck this season and I'm sure we'll stay in touch this summer and during the season. Just remember, film everything and it's not about the harvest, it's all about the story!

Take care guys.

Scott,

Thank you so much! The blog is turning itself around now, starting to figure things out with html and css coding and etc. We should hook up sometime this season or weekend or something! I love filming I think more than hunting, hahahah idk about that but filming is awesome! And I think that is a great thing! Keep in touch, think were going to go hang some cameras tomorrow, and what type of camera do you film with?

Great work guys! That's a video that would get anybody pumped. If you need us to come smoke that monster at the end for you, just give us a holler!

Seriously, you guys are doing a good job and I really like your blog. We will definitely try to hook up with you guys during the season to hunt a few times. We're going to be filming with a Sony PD150 this year as our main cam and a Handycam for a shooter cam.

Keep up the good work!

What kind of handycam exactly? because to send the footage in, they gotta be on tapes right not memory cards, i have a sony handycan dvd something and you can record on dvd or memory stick

Clint,

Sorry about that double post earlier...I didn't realize the first one posted.

Anyways, our Sony PD150 is a tape based camera, it's a couple of years old, but still an awesome camera. The low light capabilities on it should give us another 15 minutes in the morning and evening of film time that other cameras wouldn't. It is going to kind of be a pain to run tapes, but until we go HD, that's how we'll need to do it.

You might want to talk to Scott Prucha or Rick Knochel about the best method of transferring videos to the Missouri producers. I would think you could still mail them a memory card and they could capture the footage off of that. I want to say that Scott Prucha uses a new Sony HD camera that stores the footage on a memory card.

It's a sony that records to a hard drive. A bunch of the newer pro cams are recording to memory cards now too. Ours will be on tapes, but more expensive professional cams record via cards. As far as I know, they are acceptable. The footage just needs to be good and clear. You'll have the most trouble with a consumer cam in low light conditions. They're no where near as good as the prosumer cams.

Thank you guys! I will get ahold of Scott P and find out more info but my handy cam records to my memory stick, and im hoping to use it as my shooter cam also if it is acceptable.

Thanks!,
Clint
